چکیده
By 2050, according to the UN medium forecast, 68.6% of world’s population will live in cities. This growth place a strain on critical infrastructure distribution networks, which already operate state that is complex and intertwined within society. In order create sustainable society, there needs be change both societal behaviours (for example, reducing water, energy or food waste activities) future use smart technologies. The main challenges are limited aggregated understanding current ecosystems, lack technological solutions address this. Therefore, this article reflects theoretical applied works concerning behaviours, reliability/availability resilience infrastructures, advanced technologies for waste. Articles Scopus digital library considered investigation, with 51 papers selected by means systematic literature review, from 38 strains, 86 barriers 87 identified, along 60 methods analysis. focus work primarily an excess wastage.

Need for Resilience in Critical Interdependent Infrastructures
Defining Resilience Resilience has emerged in the last decade as a concept for better understanding the performance of infrastructures, especially their behaviour during and after the occurrence of disturbances, e.g. natural hazards or technical failures. Recently, resilience has grown as a proactive approach to enhance the ability of infrastructures to prevent damage before disturbance events,...
متن کاملAssessing Dependability and Resilience in Critical Infrastructures: Challenges and Opportunities
Critical infrastructures (CI) are very complex and highly interdependent systems, networks and assets that provide essential services in our daily life. Most CI are either built upon or monitored and controlled by vulnerable information and communication technology (ICT) systems. Critical infrastructures are highly interconnected systems and often use common ICT components and networks. Therefo...
متن کاملUse of indicators for assessing resilience of critical infrastructures
The overall resilience of modern societies is largely determined by and dependent on resilience of their critical infrastructures such as energy grids, transportation systems, governmental bodies or water supply. This is clearly recognized by the European Union in its policies and research agenda, such as the DRS actions and projects (DRS: Disaster-Resilience: safeguarding and securing society,...
متن کاملAssessing and Improving Operational Resilience of Critical Infrastructures and Other Systems
In this tutorial, we quantify resilience for an infrastructure system to a set of disruptive events in terms of degradation of system function. We show how to build and solve a sequence of models to assess and improve the resilience of an infrastructure system to those disruptions. Through simple examples and real-world case studies, we provide motivation, details of the models, and solution al...
